Explore Healthy Strategies to Strengthen Your Relationship

Many couples experience recurring struggles, ranging from miscommunication, financial tension, intimacy concerns, or even spiritual disconnect. Left unaddressed, these challenges can lead to disconnection or cycles of conflict.

Through Couples Group Therapy, you’ll explore strategies that bring clarity to your relationship dynamics, giving you the tools to recognize stressors, uncover patterns, and replace frustration with meaningful connection.

Safe & Supportive Group Couples Therapy

At Lewis Family Wellness Center, we believe transformation happens in safe, structured spaces where openness is encouraged and judgment is absent. Couples Group Therapy provides that supportive environment, guided by experienced therapists who integrate clinical knowledge with a biblical perspective.

Throughout the process, couples participate in interactive exercises, faith-centered discussions, and group insights that encourage deeper self-awareness and relational empathy.

Our therapy sessions cover key areas such as:

  • Personality differences and stressors
  • Communication and conflict resolution skills
  • Financial management and shared expectations
  • Faith, spirituality, and intimacy
  • Strengthening emotional and physical connection

Our goal by the end of the program is for couples to walk away with renewed confidence in their relationship and a stronger, faith-rooted foundation.

Couples Group Therapy Tailored to Your Relationship Goals

Every couple is unique, and so is their journey. That’s why our program begins with a comprehensive Prepare/Enrich assessment, identifying both strengths and areas for growth in your relationship.

From there, here’s how our group sessions are tailored to meet the real-life needs of couples who want to learn, grow, and thrive together:

SVGExplore Unresolved Issues

Unresolved challenges often resurface in patterns of conflict or emotional distance.

In group sessions, couples uncover the deeper roots of these struggles — whether they stem from family-of-origin experiences, unmet needs, or past traumas — and gain clarity on how to address them with compassion and intention.

SVGDiscover Root Causes of Stress

Many couples experience issues or setbacks because of unresolved issues that have built up over time, some of which have originated from family-of-origin experiences, past traumas, or significant life transitions.

Our goal is to uncover these root causes that can lead to disconnection, resentment, or repeated patterns of argument and avoidance and plan out specific communication strategies and conflict resolution techniques to address these issues.

SVGEnhance Communication & Conflict Resolution

Life transitions, personality differences, and financial strain can all trigger stress in a relationship.

Through guided discussion and exercises, couples learn how to recognize these stressors and approach them as a team, rather than as adversaries.

SVGEngage With a Supportive, Structured Environment

Miscommunication is one of the most common struggles couples face.

In therapy, couples practice active listening, assertive expression, and conflict resolution strategies that transform arguments into opportunities for understanding and connection.
