Cerise provides supervision to pre-licensed clinicians on the MFT, LPC, and LPCC tracks. She has a Masters in Marrage and Family Counseling Therapy and a PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision. Cerise is a Minnesota Board-Approved LMFT and LPC/LPCC and AAMFT Approved Supervisor*.
Cerise works in private practice with individuals, couples and family systems using a family systems and narrative approach. She is also an adjunct instructor at Yorkville University and Spring Arbor University where she teaches a variety of courses in both masters and doctoral programs. She also has additional training as an AAMFT Approved Supervisor. Her approach to supervision is developmental and systemic. Her belief is that the work we do internally increases our self-awareness and improves our ability to empathize and be effective with clients. She places an emphasis on cultural sensitivity and competence specifically integrating faith and spirituality. Supervision with Cerise provides supervises an opportunity to grow a professional counseling identity, improve cultural competence, and develop skills to be an ethical, effective, and skilled independent therapist.
Individual/Dyad Supervision - $80/hr
Group Supervision (max 6 people) - $30/per hr per person
Full Day Workshops - $250/person
Supervision is held at Lewis Family Wellness Center and Online.
Individual/Dyad supervision by appointment.
Group Supervision third (3rd) Saturdays 11 am - 1 pm
* The AAMFT Approved Supervisor designation identifies those professionals who have met the educational, experiential, and supervisory training requirements to supervise marriage and family therapists, for AAMFT Clinical Fellow Membership.
