
Supervision
Cerise supervises pre-licensed clinicians on the MFT, LPC, and LPCC tracks. She has a Masters in Marriage and Family Counseling Therapy and a Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision. Cerise is a Minnesota Board-Approved LMFT, LPC/LPCC and AAMFT Approved Supervisor*.
Cerise works in private practice with individuals, couples and family systems using a family systems and narrative approach. She is also an adjunct instructor at Yorkville University and Spring Arbor University, teaching various courses in masters and doctoral programs. She also has additional training as an AAMFT Approved Supervisor. Her approach to supervision is developmental and systemic. She believes that our internal work increases our self-awareness, and improves our ability to empathize and be effective with clients. She places emphasis on cultural sensitivity and competence, specifically integrating faith and spirituality. Supervision with Cerise provides supervises an opportunity to grow a professional counseling identity, improve cultural competence, and develop skills to be an ethical, effective, and skilled independent therapist.
Costs
Individual/Dyad Supervision - $80/hr
Group Supervision (max 6 people) - $30/per hr per person
Full Day - $250/person
Location
Supervision is held virtually and at Lewis Family Wellness Center
Dates
Individual/Dyad supervision by appointment.
Group Supervision weekly Saturdays 11 am - 1 pm (next session begins February 3-24, 2024)
* The AAMFT Approved Supervisor designation identifies those professionals who have met the educational, experiential, and supervisory training requirements to supervise marriage and family therapists for AAMFT Clinical Fellow Membership.
